Turkish Delights! Turkey: 21 May - 7 June 2011

The most inspirational tour ever: a travel experience that will stay in our memory forever. Turkey is unbelievably rich with the old eastern way of life and yet it is so mixed with the modern ways of the western world. It is a country where past and present, antique and modern intertwines together giving you an eclectic mix of fun, culture, historical significance and the breathtaking natural beauty.

Cinque Terre, Tuscany, Italy August 2010

Paradise discovered: the beautiful Cinque Terre, one of Italy’s most scenic spots!
Cinque Terre, the five lovely fishing villages in Tuscany, are strung along the cliffs bordering the Ligurian Sea and are linked by walking paths, a train line, and ferry - we used a combination of all three. The five villages have much in common yet each has a distinct style. Their commonality lies in the stunning sea views and sumptuous sea food delicacies.

Imperial Jewels of China: 14 November 2009 - 28 November 2009

This was one of the most interesting and unusual trips we have ever taken. This trip was not about entertainment or food or gambling. This trip was all about the destination. China is an amazing place with a completely different culture from our own. It was a great learning experience for many of us. Sailing along beautiful gorges on the Yangtze River was remarkable. We walked along one of the best-preserved sections of the fabled Great Wall enjoying magnificent views. We marvelled at the thousands of terracotta soldiers, archers, horses and chariots that were buries with the Emperor more than 2,000 years ago. We were spoiled with the luxury hotels and mouth-watering Chinese delicacies. It was memorable and enjoyable experience. We also squeezed some time for shopping. The Pearl Market is a huge 5 story building and we shopped until we could shop no more.

From Pague to Paris through Germany and Luxembourg: 30 August - 21 September 2009

Three fantastic weeks in Europe! No words can describe our excitement of visiting the two of Europe’s most glorious cities: Prague and Paris. We fall in love with both. We could not get enough and tirelessly roamed the streets from dawn till dusk. We visited one historical gem after another, while cruising along the Moselle, Rhine and Main Rivers: Bamberg, Wurzburg, Heidelberg, Rudesheim, Cochem, Koblenz and Trier. We also spent some time in the lovely city of Luxemburg.

We lost count of castles, cathedrals, fortresses and churches we’ve seen. It is only coming back and reminiscing about our trip we would love to go back at some time in the near future and experience it all over again. It was wonderful!

Once again Russia welcomed us with open arms. We strolled across Moscow's Red Square to the colourful onion domes of St Basil's Cathedral; enjoyed a collection of the famous Faberge eggs at the Armoury Museum; we experienced the city Metro with its marble floors, crystal chandeliers and extravagant frescoes. We wandered St Petersburg's baroque palaces and hear the stories of Czarist intrigues whispered over a fragrant samovar.

Vietnam & Cambodia Experience: 4 October - 25 October 2008

Asia at its best: heat, overcrowding, deafening noise as thousands of scooters tooting all at the same time and managing to carry up to 6 people or fridges, furniture or even 5 (!) live pigs. It was another exciting and memorable trip, this time taking in Vietnam & Cambodia with their breathtaking contrast in cultures, history and scenery...
